CROPÔ NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS (CNN)

A Discussion with the Community Rebirth Organization Plan (CROPÔ ) Action Team (CAT)

CNN: What is the latest program milestone that CAT has achieved?

CAT: The CROPÔ Action Team us working with Community Business Association Groups Such as the 60th Street West Market Business Association and the African American Family Conference of Temple University to have Community Family Job Life Instruction Centers in neighborhood public schools that offer apprenticeship training for neighborhood businesses. The Centers will serve as surplus computer depots for receipt of Green (i.e. Used) Personal Computers to be distributed through our Youth and Family Parent Technology Institute earn a computer program. The Centers are planned to be open in the Summer.

CNN: What are some of the issues that our Children are dealing with in our Public Schools and Community that you have encountered?

CAT: The CROPÔ Action Team has found that our Children are faced with the following on a routine basis in our Public Schools and Community:

Not being given food that is good, wholesome and nutritious to eat in the Public School Breakfast and Lunch programs. Food that is in fact so a kin to plastic rather than food that is a quite often used for food fights rather than eaten. This has been used as one more excuse to further criminalize the Public School Teaching and Learning Environment. Rather than being recognized as a cry for assistance in the area of nutrition from our Children in need.

Not being provided basic instruction that is based on the integration of assessment with instruction therapy. This means that our Children are not being provided their lesson materials in an order and sequence to maximize their ability to have a success experience learning.

Not being provided positive image education (PIE) that shows people that look like them in positive and productive situations. This is necessary to counteract the Mass Media that generally portray our people in a negative and demeaning manner.

School operating as a school-to-prison vehicle rather than the school-to-work vehicle that it is chartered to function as!

CNN: What are some of the issues that our Childrens Parents are dealing with in our Public Schools and Community that you have encountered?

CAT:

·CITY TAKING THEIR HOME OR BUSINESS PROPERTY WITHOUT THEIR AGREEMENT, PROPER NOTIFICATION OR DUE PROCESS!

·PUBLIC SCHOOLS DON'T EDUCATE THEIR CHILDREN!

·TAXPAYER EXPENSE PROJECTS OR JOBS IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD HIRE & PAY PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT FROM THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD!

·ABANDONED / VACANT HOMES THAT NEED TO BECOME THEIRS TO OWN!

·CITY REPRESENTATIVES COME INTO THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD TO ABUSE AND LIE TO THEM!

·NO CREATION OF JOB TRAINING AND JOBS ON THEIR BLOCK!

·NO SMALL BUSINESS SUPPORT PROGRAMS!

·PRISON SYSTEM NOT MAKING \THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS JOB READY UPON RELEASE!

·HOMELESS AND WANTING THEIR OWN HOME AND WANTING TO GO TO WORK!

CNN: What are some of the

TECHNOLOGY BASED SOLUTIONS THAT CAT HAS TO ADDRESS THE issues that our Children’s and their Parents are dealing with in our Public Schools and Community that you have encountered?

CAT: The Community Rebirth Organization Plan (CROP) Action Team NewDeal - Helping People with Technology Solutions to their Every Day Problems as our STANDARD Operating Procedure (SOP) program consists of these action elements:

Health Literacy-by-doing - Nutrition Stress Management from Data Spectrum - The-Job-Market, a member of the CROP - Action Team, through wholistic means! (Being in pain and sick is not normal!)with the Good News CROP Gospel Naturopathic Health Ministry Education Program providing outreach to address the Nutritional Stress Related Degenerate Disease Epidemics (i.e. Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, etc..) that are going-on in our Community through working with Churches in our Community!

Basic and Computer Literacy-by-doing and owning a PC - The Youth and Family Earn a Computer Program conducted by the Omni-community Charter School - Campus of Distance Learners with the Allied Trades and Building Construction Conservation Crafts Association featuring the Youth Technology Institute – Parents Technology Institute – Teachers Technology Institute - Where participants earn (i.e. become owners of) a NewDeal Green Personal Computer (PC) by completing a basic - computer literacy program successfully! The Philadelphia Public School and City/State Prison System Infrastructure - the Philadelphia Schools do NOT work for the majority of children and their parents and the City/State Prison System does not rehabilitate most offenders !

We are in the process of beginning to transform our Public Schools by promoting that they be managed through a Parental Governance System driven by Block/Community Association Village Government type organizations. Parental Governance that will provide effectively customer ownership of the Public Schools through community public schooling based on a modern moderate cost computer distance education model program.

We are in the process of beginning to transform our City/State Prison System by the implementation of the CROP Action Team's NewDeal unique and innovative program for financing human and community economic development as a National Model Strategy to begin addressing effectively the social, education, and economic/financial emergency in our Community, State and Country, starting with Prison-Training-to-Work -Apprenticeship - Homeless-to-Home-to-Work!

These are some of the on-going programs of the Community Rebirth Organization Plan (CROPÔ ) Action Team NewDeal of Helping People with Technology Solutions to their Every Day Problems! The Community Rebirth Organization Plan (CROPÔ ) Action Team NewDeal - Helping People with Technology Solutions to their Every Day Problems is promoting the expansion of ownership of financial instruments, and economic production capital in the context of the "New Hydrogen" based economic infrastructure that President Bush announced in his 2003 State of the Union Message. The CROPÔ operating procedure program elements that are in support of ownership expansion and the "Green Hydrogen Economy" are: ·the Philadelphia Mass Public Transportation Infrastructure - the SEPTA and Taxi Cab Company Business Model being transformed by the Community Rebirth Organization Plan (CROPÔ ) Action Team NewDeal - Helping People with Technology Solutions to their Every Day Problems implementation of the reorganization of SEPTA to Customer and Employee Ownership Organization featuring Hydrogen Fuel Power rather than Gas and Diesel Power for its Fleet of Vehicles to bring rider fares down - Public Transportation fees/fares are too high in Philadelphia! and

·the Philadelphia Gas Utility Infrastructure - the Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) Public Utility Business Model being transformed by the Community Rebirth Organization Plan (CROPÔ ) Action Team NewDeal - Helping People with Technology Solutions to their Every Day Problems implementation of the reorganization of PGW to Customer and Employee Ownership Organization featuring Hydrogen Fuel and Natural Gas Fuel Power rather than Natural Gas as the only fuel technology being supplied to its customers to bring gas bills down - Gas Bills/Costs are too high in Philadelphia!

CNN: Can you give an UPDATE ON THE PUBLIC SCHOOL CONCERNS!!

CAT: Yes, we are working with the Residents Coalition Education Committee and groups such as the African American Family Conference of Temple University. We are in negotiations with the Central Administration of the School District of Philadelphia on our concerns about our neighborhood schools such as Mifflin, and West Philadelphia High School. The committee authorized Jasper Jones and Jim Royal to represent our interests in negotiations with the Public School Central Administration on our behalf to bring the Resident Coalition Education Committee project which is Parental Governance of our Neighborhoods School into being.

Parental Governance of the Schools means that parents have the most say in school programs and staffing, that our children begin to be provided nutritious food fit to eat rather than food that is good mostly for food fights, that our schools be changed from currently being vehicles for our children being taken from school-to-prison rather than school-to-work by being instructed with individually tailored instruction plans with positive image education on people that look like them, and that each family be given an opportunity to earn a computer that allows access to distance learning with our schools becoming community schools rather than minimum security prison schools.

Our negotiations with the School District where eventually determined to not being conducted in good faith. Further, the way the money is being spent on public education in our City now operates our Public Schooling System as a defacto School-to-Prison System with issues of Institutional Racism! In order to convert our education system to the School-to-Work System that it is suppose to be - we must spent and collect the money that supports our City Public School System in a different way!

The new collection procedure for equitable collection and distribution of Education Funding is by way of the Stop Taxing Our Properties (STOP) Plan/Program which is proposed to be implemented by legislation now before the Pennsylvania House and Senate.

The new expenditure procedure for conversion of our Public Schooling System from a defacto School-to-Prison System to a School-to-Work System is via implementation of the CROPÔ Action Team Institutional Guardian Individual Development Account Trust Agreement funding process for human development and advancement!

The CROPÔ Action Team Institutional GuardianÔ Individual Development Account Trust Agreement (IDATAÔ ) funding process for human development and advancement is being put into force by civic and legal actions.

The primary legal strategy of tour human rights violation lawsuit whose basic legal infraction issues have been reviewed and determined to represent a per se violation of federal law are being "pigeon holed" at the Philadelphia FBI Office. Civic actions that are required to move the matter forward rather than being dismissed include getting the attached petitions signed by thousands and a non-violent demonstration in front of the Federal Court House. Note this is not a new strategy but a technical improvement on the Cecil B. Moore Strategy that helped to end the Old Jim Crow System in Philadelphia!

SOME OF THE ELEMENTS OF THE CROPÔ Action Team COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO ADDRESS THE GENTRIFICATION BATTLE (Ethnic Cleansing by non military means) are exemplified by our work with the FLETCHER STREET Horse Barn and Farm Coop BROTHERS AND SISTERS!

Our follow-up actions: (1) notify the People what has happened, (2) hold Parent Technology Forums at CROPÔ Neighborhood Schools in the Evening (3) Circulate Petitions in Support of our Community Program, (4) attend additional meetings with SDP Leaders to demand action on our concerns, (5) organize protest actions as required to make publicly known our concerns about the actions of the Central Administration of the School District of Philadelphia and (6) Communicate your concerns by calling your elected city, state and federal .
